Dr. Nicholas Ruckman D.P.M.
Dr. Ruckman has been practicing as a podiatrist since 2003. His decision to pursue a career in podiatric medicine stemmed from his desire to keep people active and on their feet. As an avid sports fan and former college baseball player himself, Dr. Ruckman understands the importance of good foot health for athletes and active people alike.
In 2001, Dr. Ruckman graduated magna cum laude from the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. He completed his surgical residency at St. John Oakland Hospital in Madison Heights, Michigan. Prior to attending Scholl College, Dr. Ruckman graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Bio Medical Sciences. While attending school there, he was named to the Academic all-conference baseball team.
When not treating patients, Dr. Ruckman spends his free time cheering on his favorite sports teams. He’ll never pass up the opportunity to attend a Bulls, Blackhawk’s, or Cubs game. He also enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with his family and friends.
Dr. Ruckman is passionate about quality patient care, as well as patient education. He looks forward to meeting you, and will always take the extra time to discuss questions or concerns you may have. A great result for your feet is his priority.
